TH 1709CSP is a unique flexible epoxy intumescent material that provides combined hydrocarbonfire protection and insulation against cryogenic liquid exposure.TH1709CSP also provides excellent corrosion protection and blast resistance.

• Excellent physical and chemical properties, optimised to protect steel from brittle fracture caused by the release of all types of cryogenic liquids such as liquid nitrogen and LNG, TH1709 CSP also provides resistance to pool and jet fires.

• Suitable for use in offshore and onshore environments with ISO12944-2 corrosivity categories of C5 and CX ( offshore) ;

• Fast drying and high construction efficiency, very applicable for factory application and transportation to the site for installation after prefabrication;

• High fire resistance, good flexibility, strong compatibility with topcoat, applicable for fire protection of complex steel structure design;
